Superman's Resume

I chose the job position of Superman as a basis for my resume example. During these days of few jobs, and large supply of labor, doesn’t your boss expect you to be Superman, or Superwoman? To work more hours per week, and get twice as much done, because you are easily replaceable and grateful just to have a job? I also chose Superman’s resume as a format because this is a fictional resume of course, based on a fictional character and no one’s feelings would get hurt because I didn’t choose their job. Of course, I don’t expect all of you to have won the Pulitzer Prize for Journalism, either. Obviously, later in my column I will use real positions, but the resume below will serve as an example of resume formation. In my later editions of this column I will highlight the different parts of the resume, and I will refer to the resume below in describing how to format a resume, so be sure to bookmark this page.
